That is, no day, date, year, temperature and so forth, one that simply tells the time like other wall clocks.

I'm looking for wall clocks with a WWV radio reciever that have precise movement of their hands. In other words, at 12:11:30, the minute hand should be half-way between minutes 11 and 12. Most of the ultra-cheap atomic wall clocks have haphazard movement of the hands. What brands will give high-quality movement for the hour, minute, and second hands? Thanks in advance.

I need to be able to set the clock to Any time zone in the world. From GMT -12 through GMT +12.

I plan to buy a atomic wall clock in USA and send to my friend in Australia, but I don't know if the clock would work in Australia. Does the signal used to synchronize the clock follow some international standard, so that a clock could be used internationaly in any countries that supply it?

Hi I actually have 2 atomic clocks that receive the time by radio waves from Rugby I believe. One is on the wall and runs on batteries, the other is plugged in and is used as my bedside clock. Both of these clocks have "reversed" time by 20mins a few times at random, i.e. it is 9.50am but they show 9.30am. This does not happen to both at the same time, it's always one or the other. I want to know how this could possibly happen if they are auto-corrected by radio waves?? It is becoming very annoying because I actually left the house 20mins early one day thinking I was late. Any ideas?

My parents both have Alzheimer's, and need help remembering what the day of the week is and what the actual date (including year) is. They get confused even as to what season it is. So I'm looking for an atomic wall clock (one of those ones that sets itself, cuz they can't reset a clock anymore) that has the day of the week, the date, the year, and the time on it. I can't find one anywhere. I'll buy over the internet if I can find one. Any ideas? I've looked at the big department stores; they don't have clocks with the year on them. It also needs to have LARGE letters.

I have a small atomic alarm clock that I have had for over two years. It is a Sharp. I lost the instructions. This alarm goes off every morning at six. You don't even have to set it. How long do these batteries usually last?

Is it better to buy an atomic alarm clock or the emerson smart set alarm clock???? It seems that for the Atomic Clock the weather needs to be good and also be in good range of Colorado in order to work properly. Anyone on the east coast have any pro's/con's on the atomic??

It had the right time zone before I changed batteries, now I can't remember how to reset it.

I don't need the AM/FM tuner and I don't want one that when plugged in lights up the backlit during the night (want something completely dark at night). I do not want one that is bright... I just want one that functions as an atomic alarm clock, which will be loud enough to get me up in the morning, and can be plugged in or used with a battery.
