There should be a button on the back to "send/receive."
If not, pull the battery and it should reset.

If your "atomic wall clock" is the same model as my friend's, it sets itself according to received WWV radio signals. You can adjust which time zone you're in, but that's it. The only way to turn it "off" is to remove the batteries, then it can't do anything at all......

My friend's clock did automatically adjust itself this morning for the new daylight savings time.
